How to remove dog scratches on a ivory colored leather couch?

My dog decided to try to dig a hole in my ivory leather couch to get “comfy.” He scratched the paint off my couch but did not succeed in tearing through the leather completely – just slightly. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can repair this? I’ve found many home remedies including the olive oil but I believe it will only work for dark leather couches and not painted ivory couches.

There isn’t much you can do to actually repair the couch, but you can get a leather polish/paint to cover it up a little bit. Try going to a shoe repair store or look online for shoe repair products and you can find a leather shoe cream which should work on your couch.
